What You Can Expect

Visit the Highlands to explore the picturesque village of Pitlochry and sample a glass of whisky at Edradour Distillery on this 8-hour private tour from St. Andrews.

Enjoy a visit to The Hermitage Woodlands, see a Highland view fit for a Queen, and of course sample some whisky, all with a friendly and professional driver-guide; , and enjoy some free time to explore during lunch time in the highland town of Pitlochry.

What You Can Expect

Meet your private driver-guide at 8am at your St. Andrews accommodation and jump aboard your minivan.

Take in the scenery as you drive up north past Perth and Dunkeld, arriving at Edradour just before 10am.

Take the time to experience the whisky distillery on a guided tour (extra cost), and perhaps sample a wee dram of Scotch. Then, head into Pitlochry, a lovely Highland town established in Victorian times. Talk a wander down by the river, where you may be lucky enough to see a salmon or two leaping; do some shopping, or pop into one of the cafes or pubs for lunch (own expense).

Next, travel the few miles north to the Queen's View, a spectacular viewpoint over Loch Tummel, which Queen Victoria is said to have remarked was named after her when she visited the area in 1866.

Make sure to get a few photos of this beauty spot before once again boarding the minivan to begin your journey south, this time to the Hermitage Woodland Walk
Back on the bus once more, head back to St. Andrews to be dropped off at your hotel.
