I headed-up a group of 59 golfers for 12 days in Scotland in August, 2023. I just want to tell you how fantastic Brian was. First of all, our flight was very late but he was there waiting. But the real problem came when we arrived at the hotel and there was no one there to let us in!! If Brian had dropped us and sped away, we literally would have been stuck on the street at 1AM. He was an absolute angel and helped us find lodging in his hometown of Dundee. He then committed to picking us up the next morning to take us back to St Andrews. And he was there as promised. St Andrews Shuttle saved our vacation! We had a rental can that fell through at the last second, leaving our party of 6 stranded with a full itinerary. Can’t recommend their shuttle service enough. If you’re a student traveling to the airport at the end of a semester with heavy luggage at awkward hours in the night/early morning, try booking a spot on their website. Even if it’s short notice, they might be able to help you. I was very late to book my spot through their website, so I called them and they arranged something for me. Hello Gordon and Wendy. I wanted to reach out to you to let you know just how much Kevin and I appreciated your assistance with our last minute booking from Edinburgh to St. Andrews last Sunday, 7 August. We had a great deal of difficulty with our flights—an 8 hour delay caused us to miss our Saturday evening flight to Edinburgh and then a 3 hour delay the next day caused us to miss a connection from Amsterdam to Edinburgh. I had to phone our driver, Andy, to let him know our new arrival time and he said he would get in touch with the office as we may be assigned a new driver. It wasn’t long before I heard back with the information on the new driver and I let him know our new flight arrival time. Up to that point, we were not checking bags but as we approached the gate, we were told we had to check the bags as they would not fit on the plane. It must have taken an hour and a half to get our bags in Edinburgh! Brian, our driver, stayed in touch with us and we were so grateful he waited! We finally arrived in St. Andrews a day and a half late but enjoyed the time spent there. Again, we can’t thank you enough for your help; most companies these days don’t deliver on their services but you went above and beyond as did Brian.

Golfers, if you are looking for an excellent trasnport service at good price then St Andrews Shuttle is your choice. No need to rent and worry about GPS, parking, where are the keys, etc. They drive so that you can also (golf) drive!!
Wendy was always responding emails promptly and very helpful while arranging last minute changes.
Everything was delivered as expected - punctuallity, flexibility, availability and friendship - in a super comfortable mini-bus for 8 people. Our driver, Randall, was great and always available to adapt to our needs and to help us when needed: leave luggage / bags in the bus, I can stop here for you to do more shopping, etc.

As someone who has a natural tendency to drive to sporting & musical events, or, if its too far to drive, fly & use car hire, my recent trip to play St Andrews, was an eye opener for me.

Rather than getting ripped off with expensive car hire rates & inflated insurance add on’s, I opted to use St Andrews Shuttle. I booked it online & confirmation & instructions were prompt. Your driver - Steve - was waiting for us, at Edinburgh Airport. In his spacious & modern vehicle, he  whisked the four of us, including golf bags & cases off to St Andrews. Total cost = £100. Likewise, our return on the 17 November, Steve was again our driver, arriving at the pre arranged time, to take us back to Edinburgh Airport. Cost £100. No worrying about Sat Navs, speed cameras, scratches to the hired car or returning with a full fuel tank or indeed having to nominate a designated driver, who has to stay sober !

So, any golfers travelling to Scotland & staying in a central venue - like St Andrews - it is well worth exploring the St Andrews Shuttle Option. We played the Old Course, New Course & The Jubilee Course. We walked the 10 minutes from the hotel to the course, each day & availed of the onsite course lockers to store our golf clubs each night - its a no brainer. !

It is not every day that you meet a shuttle driver in Scotland who knows so much about so many places in the Caribbean. I have used St Andrews shuttle several times a year for all 4 years of my undergrad degree. Never once have I had any issues. It is a very fair price for the service you get - the standout point being how they accommodate for your flight being late etc, meaning you have nothing to stress about.
